Malvern Garden
Landscape Design & Construction
This Malvern garden shows the importance of inter disciplinary cross pollination in the design industry. The custom architect designed brick house is one such collaboration. The result, a beautifully raw, seamlessly integrated house and garden.

The front garden nestles behind a 1.8m high rendered front fence with built-in letter box, step lights and an intercom system. Stepping stones access the back of the letter box. There’s a rectangular open grass area for easy maintenance, and step lights for safety and accent lighting.

The rear garden boundary is wrapped around with Ficus evergreen screen hedges, under-planted with mass pink & white Hydrangeas. The garden now includes a rustic blue-stone paved outdoor entertaining area, slumbering below an open timber pergola. The sloping land has been reduced for easy maintenance, and a connection has been made between the rear garage and the house. The landscape design and construction retained the large 40 year-old canopy tree.
