Transforming the topography into a harmonious haven, Lysterfield Garden is a testament to the marriage of natural elements and contemporary design. This landscape project, undertaken with meticulous precision, unfolds a narrative of elevation changes, locally sourced materials, and lush greenery that redefine the essence of outdoor living.

The 3.8m high-level rise from the street towards the home is a bold statement, anchoring the design with an air of grandeur. Ascending these heights are the locally sourced Sawn Basalt entrance steps, each a 170mm rise in testament to the masonry craftsmanship.

The Upcycle railway sleeper bench seating provides a rustic charm, a nod to sustainability that invites you to linger and savour the surroundings.

The grandeur of the large rock boulders, serving dual roles as retaining walls, is heightened by the strategic placement of core-ten steel planters and edging. This arrangement orchestrates a captivating interplay of textures, skilfully crafting a robust boundary that seamlessly blends natural ruggedness with an industrial flair.

As you traverse the garden, the layers of greenery unfold – from clipped Westringia balls to drifts of native planting, creating a living tapestry that evolves with each step. The Dichondra embraces the organic round bluestone steppers, accentuated by strategically placed lighting that transforms the garden into an enchanting spectacle after dusk.

The concrete ramp side access invites you to explore every nook and cranny of this curated space, while the neat Buxus hedge around the porch adds a touch of classic elegance.

Lysterfield Garden is not just a landscape project; it’s a symphony of elements orchestrated to create a living masterpiece. From the locally sourced materials to the sustainable seating, every facet tells a story of craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless beauty.
