Alongside this modern French architecture in Mont Albert, the strips of dynamic water bodies connects the indoor cozy lifestyle to the exterior peaceful but active garden space. The Metung Garden aims at embedding the refined liquidity within the rigid architectural space, creating outdoor space that connects the different parts of garden together.
As you enter the garden, you are welcomed by two strips of Iceberg Floribunda Rose, showing off its stunning and manifesting white colour. The minimalism front garden, decorating with rows of rose and bluestone pavings, performs as an inviting and elegant front garden space. The corner lawn and strips of garden bed provide sufficient visional greenery.
At the back, there is the outdoor entertainment deck. The deck is designed to be in a perfect location, adjacent to both the rear garden and the side water features. Being at the entertainment deck, you are able to vision and immerse in both outdoor spaces. The deck also serves as the transitional space between different spaces of the garden, allowing you to feel the dynamic water flow as well as the serenity of the rear garden.
The rear garden is sunken few steps down from the deck, with paving groundworks matching with the architecture. The rear garden is designed to be the extension of indoor residntial space, allowing all sorts of family activity happening here.
The side of the garden is the featured water bodies, the pools and water fountain. These water bodies form a linear view when you are within this space, giving a more complicated and dynamic view and experience. Many details are applied in this area to upheld its sptial quality, including the choice of pool tiles and the water wall.
The design of pool area serves not only visual purpose, but also includes the consideration of its functionality as well as human flow, achieving in a classic yet intriguing residential garden design.
