A pebble front garden with feature floating steps, selected boulders, vegetations and brick front fence.

Venturing into the captivating realm of Serpentine Garden, where the convergence of artistry and functionality reveals a landscape masterpiece that surpasses the ordinary. This captivating local project weaves together design finesse and practicality, creating a harmonious timeless haven.

In the front garden, a unique white pebbled garden sets the stage, offering a low-maintenance oasis with weed matting beneath the pebbles. Pink granite boulder rocks add a touch of natural elegance, concealing a large stormwater pit underneath—a testament to thoughtful design that goes beyond the surface.

As you wander through this curated space, drifts of Agastache ‘Sweet Lili’ and Royal Purple Liriope bloom, while clipped balls of Westringia Coastal Rosemary and Westringia Blue Gem dot the white pebbled front garden, creating a symphony of colors and textures.

Timber floating steps on top of the floating steps, the level differences further brings out the rough beauty of the pebble garden.

The front garden floating steps, crafted in composite timber, add a modern touch, leading the way through the meticulously planned garden. Whitehorse City Council granted approval for the removal and replanting of 2 trees, with a Blueberry Ash and a Yellow Bloodwood taking root as per the Notice of Decision (NOD).

In the rear garden, a large composite deck takes centre stage, permitted and certified by Whitehorse City Council. This versatile space includes a sunken lounge, under-deck storage, and even conceals a substantial stormwater pump required by engineers. A concrete block retaining wall frames the space, while an aluminum freestanding pergola with built-in louvers and LED lighting adds both form and function. Tall Bamboo ‘Gracilis’ hedges provide a natural screen, ensuring privacy and tranquillity. Throughout the garden, an irrigation system adds the finishing touch, nurturing the landscape to flourish.
