A mansion garden in Ivanhole with a classic water fountain feature with bluestone capping, creating the elegant feeling of this garden.

Designed specifically to introduce texture and interest around the contemporary architecture, PATH combines planting, natural materials and feature elements to create a rich sensory landscape.

The classic water fountain feature with bluestone capping and vegetation below it, and the side limestone dwarf wall matches the classic feeling of garden design.

Accent foliage softens the front steel and rendered fence while providing a subtle welcoming gesture. Acer ‘Japanese Maple’ bring fresh green foliage during spring and summer before transforming into vivid red tones in autumn. At ground level, glossy dark foliage provides depth, while Trachelospermum ‘Chinese Star Jasmine’ within the understory planting introduces fragrance during spring.The planting also provides privacy and seclusion, creating a soft buffer between the garden and the outside environment.

The front garden includes two rustic highlight elements, a bowl water feature and a bench constructed from recycled wharf timber, adding warmth and character to the contemporary design. A laser-cut Corten steel screen featuring a bamboo motif provides an artistic focal point amongst the glossy Evergreen Magnolia ‘Teddy Bear’ foliage and becomes particularly striking when illuminated after sunset.

Sandstone paving leads visitors towards the rear garden, where a sparkling on-ground swimming pool awaits. Vertical batten screening dresses the rear boundary while providing a contrasting backdrop to the pool against the transparent acrylic pool fencing, which maintains visual connection across the space. Natural ‘Coolum’ limestone walling is used to form elevated garden beds and swimming pool retaining walls, introducing warm earthy tones to the landscape.

The copper red metal cladding as a decoration on the boundary fence, with tailor design laser cut pattern on it, adding fun to the garden design.

The product is durable and long lasting, making it ideal for use in retaining walls that support the weight of the garden bed and swimming pool. This Wilfred Garden has lush planting and hardy durable materials to compliment our client’s modern style.

The combination of constructed elements, landscape lighting and natural light creates a dusky harmony in this modern garden design. The interplay between these elements creates a cohesive and visually appealing outdoor space that enhances the overall appeal of this Ivanhoe Garden Landscape Design.

The highly saturated blue pool tile and the dark brownish tiber fence creates an interesting dynamic and contrast in the backyard.
